Rumour New Major Sponsor?

Well hopefully it's a company who can inject a decent amount of money into the club for the next few years.

I'm tired of New Sponsor always been listed on the weekly injury list as two weeks away from playing. Hopefully with Burgess back his yearly stint on the sidelines after promising so much is finally over.

I heard last year that whoever the new apparel sponsor was, will also do the Magpies. I wonder if that is still the case?

If it is, I'd say a local Oz company is more likely.

I couldn't care less about who the new major/apparel sponsors are going to be. I want the companies who are prepared to pay the most for the privilege. End of story. We need as much financial support as we can get if we want to dance with the heavyweights so we need to source out the highest bidders, not the coolest ones.

If that means we get Libra Maxi-Pad logos on a jumper made by Lorna Jane then so be it!

Good sponsorship is about function over form every time.

On a different scale but Liverpool FC is now with Warrior Sports leaving Adidas.....reason simple, its all about the $$$

Warrior is giving Liverpool FC £25 million per season, Adidas was only giving them about £15 million per season, simple decision really

I had the most comfortable pair of Rivers shoes imaginable many years ago.made in Ballarat too.
They eventually wore out and went back to Rivers but only found a cheap uncomfortable imitation made in China.

In the NBA dwyane wade leaving the Nike owned Jordan brand to join virtually unknown in the US Chinese Li Ning is another example of this. 10 million base payments per year for 10 years did it though ;-)
