I just read this article in the MX (Melbourne's daily paper).......... ;)

Crows superstar Andrew McLeod, who has split with his wife has found comfort in the company of a 20-year-old bikini model.

The dual Norm Smith medalist is dating Darwin born Brooke Sheehan, who moved to Sydney last year to persue her modelling career.

It is believed that the couple met when McLeod accompanied Lleyton Hewitt to the Top End for a fishing holiday in October.

"They're more than just friends - they're an item;" a close friend of Brooke's said."

"They've been seeing each other since they met in Darwin, despite the fact that Brooke lives in Sydney and Andrew is based in Adelaide."

Darwin-born McLeod, 28, last year split from his wife, with whom he has two children.

mmmmmmmmmm interesting.

The age old problem...we dont talk about his split because thats his ''personal life'' yet we dont mind talking about his new gf even though that is also his private life? Do we all buy New Idea etc?

Good on him for getting on with life and maybe we need to talk about football

Come on Wizard Cup

I was just stating the fact that if he is happy in his private life hopefully he will have a better year on the footy field. Good on him.

How quickly it all changes, I posted a thread a month or so ago about his marriage split and all hell broke loose, about staying out of his private life.

If we are to stay true to the many posts going on about what is done in his private life is nothing to do with us, then this whole discussion should be deleted.

I just wonder about the two faced nature of people and how they are happy to comment about the good things in a players life but not the bad things.

PS this has nothing to do with Perth Crow as I come from Secret Harbor WA anyway, but some people who blasted me should have a look in the mirror as I still stick to my point that if they are an AFL footballer then they have to take the good the with bad, and he is obviously in the good times as against a couple of months ago

I could be in the minority, or even wrong, but IMO the line should be drawn when there are other people involved. Wife, children, family members etc.
Their life is not a public life.
At times, such as during the Carey saga, it gets a bit blurred and hard, but one should at least try. Talking mainly newspapers here.
To me that is common courtesy.

Depends on the sports person. For example, sport stars like D Beckham, who go out of their way to push themselves into the spotlight, must accept the good with the bad.
