I think he is pretty happy with the cats now will be hard to get him.Kirsten might be a good addition too. Perhaps if we finish low enough we pick Kersten in the Preseason Draft.

Roberton is 194cm and has been playing 2nd or 3rd tall depending on who else was in the team. He's exactly the type of player that is the modern back. Yes we got nothing for him but he was worth something, in the normal course of events.Roberton isn't really a KPP, we should have got something for him (well done Bond, another triumph) and he would be in our best 22 but he isn't a KPP
Wood was shorter and thinner than most of our midfielders wasn't he? All the rookies are speculative and shouldn't count, they're like putting your last $5 on the 0 in roulette before you hitch a ride home empty handed

Wood was 192cm, maybe undersized for a KPP, but the same height as Pav, Darling, Stringer types.
Was he really 192? Looked smaller.
Calls were made on the coaching panel, we got 3 new ones
He can leave as a free agent. No preseason draft required.
I think the director of coaching is the biggest flaw here. The other three new coach can't do much they are new to freo environment will be afraid to give their idea also.Yes one forced change and the recruiting of 2 new to coaching .
Very good point, if you think you have the next Patrick Dangerfield you just cant pass that up and you would once again try to fix your key position issues from your later picks. We all want a great key position forward to replace Pav but at the moment it seems that there may not be one that is worth the pick we are going to have.

You guys are right the modern style should suit Macarthy , Kersten and also Mayne who I rate similar but doesnt seem to be thriving at the moment we will see if the other two are much better in the long run.
Agood forward coach should look at his leading because he gets caught under the ball far too often instead of being in a position to launch himself at the dropping ball and meeting it on the way down .A point raised by Dremitt Brereton in his post match summery .The modern style should suit Tabs too, hypothetically at least... He should thrive in the extra space.
Tabs/McCarthy - both very mobile and might be a hard matchup in the future.
We will be packing his bags for him. With a bidding war between a couple of desperate clubs and a lot of luck, we might get 2nd round compo or at least an early 3rd.I think Clarke will go pre season also.

Wellingam. Redden. Jetta. Yeo.For those saying that its hard to get players from other clubs to move to the WEST look no further that the guys down the road .
Off topic but how has Redden been going? Thought he was going to compliment their midfield nicely but haven't heard much about himWellingam. Redden. Jetta. Yeo.
They gave up a lot to get Yeo and some spuds.

The question though is who would want him?
Yep if Essendon can get some trade value from Giles to a grand finalist team then maybe we can derive some value from Hannath. Suspect it would be as steak knives though. He's a ruckman. That's his saving grace. There will always be a club out there that is desperately short on ruckmen. Frickin Cain Ackland changed 3 clubs and lasted at least 7-8 years in the system.
I agree. On exposed form across the time they have been in WA, Danyle Pearce has been better than all of them. Yeo is young and has potential but the others would have been hounded relentlessly. If we'd traded for that bunch all but Yeo would be complained about on here like D.Pearce is. Except worse, because we would have given up something of value to get them.
