Fremantle has appointed Neil Ross as its Western recruiting manager.

The 46-year-old’s recruiting duties will cover Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

2005-2006, and for the past three years has been Collingwood’s WA recruiting manager.

Lloyd said that Adam Jones, the club’s current Melbourne-based recruiting operations manager, had been appointed Eastern recruiting manager.

Jones, whose recruiting duties will cover Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania, will also report to the club’s general manager of player management.

There's a lot to like about how the club goes about things these days

Yep, the more comprehensive we can make our recruiting network the better.

When you considering how crucial good recruiting is to success I'm surprised it took so long for the club to get it's act into gear in this regard. I guess CC & Schwabb figured it wasn't needed since they never used the draft.
 
Wow! So we've got recruiting managers to cover every point on the globe - except of course the most important one of all. Just who has been appointed to cover Moss St, East Fremantle? Get that right and you can forget everything east of the rabbit proof fence.

NT is an underrated goldmine. abundant indigenous talent running around.

These two had a few different ways of doing things. Remember Kevin Ball, the biomechanist.
