Does anyone actually make resolutions that they have any intention of sticking to. In the past I have made them and they have not lasted more than a very short period of time.

If I had to make one, I would go for the old classic, give up the smokes. Perhaps declaring it publically might give me the motivation to carry it through.

Any others? And do you think you will achieve it?

Cheers.:)

Hell no, just take things as they come.

I am feeling pretty damn good though for some reason - maybe just the new year, the slate's clean, I've got the whole year to screw up again.:D

New year, new start for me, so...

same as always, keeping my life on track and this time getting a career off to a genuine start :p :D

Also, try not to get so worked up on things or get into petty arguments with my partents. Like I can keep that one ;) :p :(

I try not to make New Years Resolutions because well, I usually can't keep them.

However I do hope that all the plans I made in the last few days actually happen.......

For the time being just trying to get better. Been sick the last three days which cut last night majorly short for me, and got the test starting tomorow which i'd like to have a cpl of drinks at.

Thats describes me exactly. More hope than actual expectation. Thats why I generally regard them as a waste of time.

Good Luck. Wouldn't fancy a day at the cricket without being able to get on the ****.

Well, coming into my late teens, I suppose more alcohol and chicks could be a start for a new resolution. Doesn't mean both will happen though, but the alochol will.

Good luck Joe. If you think you might need a hand, give us a yell. I'm sure between us we'll sort something out;) :D :D

Its simply a matter of declaring a war on it. Then once we say so it will be defeated. :D

I dunno maybe because i'm joking.

George W proberly thinks it has been.

Yes, I got the joke. And the Bush irony.

New year is the worst time to kake a resolution. You are hung over ahnd you have the whole day and perhaps another party o two to attend.

I think I will limit mine to a simple one like try not to spend too much money in Jan and Feb to counter the blowout over christmas
