Agreed. I think that Gone Critical ‘s criteria of seeing how he performs against top talent has been met. Two games in and he’s gone up against two top 5 fancies and we’ll and truly out performed them. 58 disposals, 13 tackles and 6 goals in 2 games. He’s making a mockery of NAB league. Play him in the VFL and develop him ourselves so he’s good to go in round 1 next year.

There is only 1 more nab league round before an extended break for school and local footy. So he will play round 2 vfl most likely

Maybe, but from prospective it’s when you trade first rounders out for players that are not in the long term plans, and you can see in the draft what we need long term, that’s when it hurts.

Thats right. Played 2 games in less than a week. Still had strapping on his leg, but still dominated.

I can live with losing next years first, mainly cause of the talent that was brought in. The same decision should have been made several drafts ago when naughton was up for grabs, then we could have kept next years first.

I can't. I can see what they were thinking and why all the other decisions were made. That's the only decision where I just can't see how they could have justified it to themselves, other than as a short term tokenistic fillip for supporters.

the kid is clearly a gun at this level, probably too good.
With sco on this, just play him in the vfl, where he will only improve more against better and harder opponents.
