While not necessarily disagreeing with what Swann had to say I think he should learn to keep his ____ing mouth shut. Poor form to openly criticise the character of a player currently on another teams list.

I had the "displeasure" of seeing the Swans lose to the Hawks at Aurora Stadium in Launceston in the NAB Cup earlier this year. After the game, the only player to come out of the room for at least half an hour was NICK DAVIS. All smiles & making friends with anyone who cared to notice him. It smacked a little of "look at me, I'm Nick Davis". I was immediatly struck by his immature attitude.

I seriously cannot fathom how much energy and time has been spent on this guy. Would we spend this much time if say Brett Kirk was going through the same thing?
The guy is gone. Just by saying he wants to play at West Coast he has lost my respect.
Sorry but the sooner we get rid of Nick Davis the better it will be for all swans. This guy has managed to create a huge rift between the swans supporter base and he has only ever played 1 qrt of good footy which ok got us one step closer to a flag but at the end of the day he didnt just win that flag.
If it was Malceski or Jolly or Mickey or Goodes or C Bolton or the irish man fair enough but its Nick Davis.

Ok here is your challenge, find me 4 games where Nick Davis has played 4 qrts of consistant footy and has managed to grab the game by the scruff of the kneck like he did with geelong.
4 games and they have to be 4 qrts and not just a cameo.

Who cares. All i know is that Nick Davis will not wear the red and white again. He can go to hell. A middle of the road player who has managed to stir up shit for failing to do what is needed of him.

Nick Davis is a squib. Was a squib at Collingwood and now is a squib at Sydney. Must be a coincedence he has finished his career at 2 top sides in familiar fashion.
I am sure he is a good kid but he is just plane lazy. And he is the one who has to go through the rest of his life with history judging him as someone who had potential but didnt live up to it.
Thats it i have had my say on Nick Davis.

The reason I ask is that I strongly suspect his "knee injury" may in fact have just been the club advising him that his career at the swans was over and there would be no use fronting to training or playing reserves.
I'm not exactly a fan and will be glad to see the back of him but you seem to have an excessive amount of hostility towards a player who is guilty of nothing more than being lazy.

Um, it's your deflection champ. You changed "has only ever played 1 qrt of good footy" (which is just a ridiculous troll) into "find me 4 games where Nick Davis has played 4 qrts of consistant footy and has managed to grab the game by the scruff of the kneck like he did with geelong". The magic of the quarter v Geelong is that I can't think of anyone who has done that for the Swans before or since.
Oh and BTW, Davis was very good for the three games before the Geelong SF. Certainly one of our best in the loss to West Coast.

I guess it has been amplified by a fair few posters who are loud in their support for Nick and cannot fault his lazyness or his inept performances this year. They keep attacking Roosy and Kirk to an extent by heaping heaps of crap on them and virtually blaming them for Nicks demise while failing to understand that its Nicks lazy couldn't careless attitude that has got him where he is. It's like they would rather retain Nick Davis and build a team around him and sack Roosy and anyone else who dares say anything about Nick Davis.
That has irked me a lot and made me dislike this squib even more.
Also hasnt helped that he has choosen a RL meathead who used to distabilise his own club as a manager.
The guy should have been playing League not AFL.
