This might have been covered before but I was wondering whether Nick made the call himself to tag Thompson In the last few min or it was by chance. I was watching the replay last night and that move most likely won us the game.
However it happened it was inspirational.

Maxwell was on Channel 7 on Sunday and he said he wasnt on anyone towards the end after Tippets goal. Said he was trying to go 2 up in the ruck contests to get the ball fwd but he was blocked on the last one and the ball landed in his hands so he booted it.

I can't believe no-one had a go at him for his shit disposal out of the centre.

With Maxie getting it out of the centre with a wild snap and Cheesy shutting down any chance of the Crows getting a quick kick in to their forwards the whole things reads like one of Bigbucks nightmare reversed.
