Best game ever for the Tigers and hasn't missed a beat since he's come back from injury. These types of players that do this are well above average and don't need weeks or another preseason nonsense to find their mojo. Looks to have trimmed down and is as tough as nails with more run.

if he played middle, and the defense didn't fall apart without him

he would be the 3rd best mid and would do a lot of damage... like a bigger prestia that can kick well and long

Yes you both were and I had my first disagreement on BF with Goldust over this matter. I'm happy to admit I'm wrong and will go with the latest spin on here that the midfield improved his defensive running game.

He shouldn't be played as a midfielder, I think some of his earlier games this year showed that. The half back flank or back pocket isn't the flashiest position, but it suits his skillset perfectly. He's a defender, not a midfielder, hopefully the match committee accept that and leave him in the position he played on the weekend.

Not surprising at all. Made so many good decisions and kicking skills was amazing.

Other than his obvious courage and his great intercept marking, there was one play that summed him up beautifully

I think it was the last quarter (or third) where the ball was deep in the giants 50 (about 5 metres from goal) and the ball was in dispute. He picked it up cleanly in the pouring rain and held it for a couple of seconds until he was about to be tackled and gave a beautiful reverse handpass to rance who was over his right shoulder, which put him into heaps of space and allowed him to get the ball long to a contest which resulted in a throw in.

Amazing composure when most would shit their dacks and just slam in on the boot.
