It really is...

What would be more enjoyable is watching this sort of tackle on a Steven Milne or Josh Carr and making them bleed! Or perhaps even Cuzzy:D

From one number 9 to another. Make it happen Woosha, make it happen. :p

Looking at that video he has put on quite a bit of size, i really cant wait for him to scare the Sh*# out of the opposition (especially the smaller players) when he chases and tackles them.

I really want him to tackle Jake King..who reminds me of of a little annoying hyena..i can imagine Natinui the roaring Lion hunting for blood...

Thats just mean... Jake might never get a game though either.. and he is pretty fast he won the grand final sprint one year I believe.

You would hate to have those big arms wrapped around you in a game, it just means pain!

I hope we learnt from the Swift situation.

I can understant people needing a WAFL mesiah but 19 year olds usually aren't going to do much at AFL level until they're really comfortable.

I'm expecting Naitanui to have a pretty quiet game if he gets into the 22 but thumbs up for his improvement.

Tyrone impressed me in the NAB.

Has he been playing in the seconds? or is he straight into the fray back from injury??

Been playing in the 2's, quite a few BOG's. Has impressed more up forward in his better games but has been decent in the ruck too. Just rumours at the moment that he may play but hope he does so we can see both our first-round draft picks in action, possibly on each other. :)

Would be nice to have a gun 1st year player out there. No reason why one of our youngsters can't have a Kerr/Judd/J.Selwood/Rich/Rioli like debut season.

He will really bring allot of improvement for you guys in the ruck and also as a tall forward with Richo out. I think it will straighten Richmond up allot.

1. Ben Cousins playing against his old team probably v Kerr for a period of time
2. Contract negotiations with Worsfold
3. New caretaker coach for Richmond
4. Richmond past captain and star retires
5. Naita #2 draft pick, excitement machine debue
6. Tyrone Vickery draft pick #8 debue

Have I missed anything???

Got to laugh at the morons who wanted him to play after 1 WAFL ressies game.

Imagine picking a 1st year player who now has form, fitness and some confidence...who would of thunk it

Looks like the only thing you missed is the T in debut.
;)

I think a debut away from Perth would be best for him. If these boards are anything to go by, the build up in Perth would be ridiculous if he was going to play at Subi. At least this way he can have a relatively low key build up to the game in Melbourne without too many of the distractions he'd face in Perth. Not that it should matter in the grand scheme of things but I just think an away debut might be best.

I felt a bit sorry for Jack Watts on the weekend watching that game. The cynic in me was thinking that Melbourne might have orchestrated his debut for their self-proclaimed 'biggest game of the year' to maximise the promotion of that game. I'm not really surprised the kid had a quiet one.

Battle of the dreadlocked 200cm tall giants! Its going to be cool watching them ruck against each other, and subsequently watching Vickery run around with a Naita footprint embedded into his head.

I bet Naita won't get chosen.

Then this board will go apeshit.

Which would be hilarious considering it's a very real chance.

Ultimately, if Brown, Kennedy and Lynch are playing forward then it's realistic and understandable that he may miss out.

After spending all year complaining and demanding Brown play forward, it could be the very reason why Nicko isn't selected. It would send the knee-jerkers into overdrive.

Which is why it's looking more and more likely that Spangher's the one in the gun

Backs
Glass
Mackenzie
Hunter

Forwards
Lynch
Kennedy
Brown

Rucks
Cox
Naitanui

That's about as many talls as you'd want to play there. The only other one in danger of getting dropped would be Mackenzie but i don't see it happening
