No. 1 tagger

Everyone says Rooke is, and will be when he returns to the senr side, but Ling is more than doing his job.
Do we think 2 taggers is a good option, i cant see why not, as most sides have 2 influential midfielders.....so, comments??

They can both play in the same side but I don't think we can have them in the centre square at the bounce at the same time. We can't just have one midfielder trying to clear it and have 2 trying to tag.

Rooke is so much more than a tagger. He is a very talented ball winner and can also go back and play on a key position player if needed.

The guy has a never give up attitude and the reason he is so successful at tagging is because players are always scared that they will be driven into the ground with a Rookie Massacre tackle!

Ling should always come in off the HFF or wing at centre bounces. Rooke, though, adds something with his hardness and tackling ability (as well as ball-winning talents), so should be thrown in there fairly often.

although, last time i can recall Rooke as a key Backman was when russell robertson drilled the lazy 7 goals. grrrrrrr
