Agree 100%. We know Lids is going to be a good player for us. If even just one of the players PLSC has mentioned steps up and becomes a senior regular who is consistently contributing, then it's just like picking up a gold nugget in the draft all over again.
2nd tier players really need to step up this season. That's going to be the fascinating thing for me this year. Watching how the likes of Schulz, Jackson, Hartigan respond to the challenge.

Schulz better step up this year, because I'm shining my boots and I need a new whipping boy.

Now that Ottens, Fiora & Rodan are gone and the Bowdens have improved, it just seems boring these days laying into Tivendale every week.

All indicators since TW came along seem to point in an upward direction and I feel as if we are definitely headed in the right direction but I just dont think we're ready for finals yet.

Im looking for more improvement and game time from our youngsters and a DISTINCT improvement in our performances and competitiveness against the best WCE-Syd etc. Once that gap is consistantly bridged then i'll talk finals.
