Nope, was straight out of year 12 when they grabbed me. Did it concurrently with university. Worked for the Swans as a development coordinator as part of my role which then gave me the necessary experience to jump into the role I'm in now. Would recommend it enormously.

Anyone in the Western Suburbs or Ballarat area know of the best way to get into an adult apprenticeship? Or anyone that's hiring? 22 years old and want a change of career, more outdoors work. Sites like Seek are just the biggest wank and no help at all, so thought I might as well see on here.

Check the website of your local city council. Often have jobs for groundsmen/ works crews etc
