See I prefer the 'own website' option too, but then the fact that I've never run a website or done much with html before makes it really difficult to know how to manage it etc.
But on the other hand if I go on WordPress, it's much much easier for me and lets me see if it's something I want to continue with...but then is there an easy way to transfer things over or do I have to start from scratch basically?
Why don't you get someone to run the website, but you provide the content? Create a partnership.






Have a name, the start of a layout and a bit of content written. Going with WordPress for now and will transition to my own site down the track perhaps.
