I agree that they have top end talent however they've also under performed a lot recently. Aside from 2021 when they made the GF they tend to scrape in to the 8 and then lose in the first week.
I know that losing Smith and Dunkley has hurt them, but you can't help but think that they've wasted a potential dynasty with that list given the talent they've had avaialble.
Losing to Freo like they did yesterday when they had everything to play for has been a hallmark of the Bulldogs recently.

Vale Ryan Burton’s AFL career, I suppose he just has to settle for hating the Crows reserves side now when he comes up against them in the SANFL from now on

Nah, he's too mentally fragile to become the best player in the AFL.
Will be a handy player though for another team.
Yes that’s true, both showed signs of being so much better than they eventually were, but both really did have physical limitations with leg speed and being undersized for the roles they were asked to play.
The bad knee injuries ended up advancing their used by dates but without them they probably had ‘limitations’ already with their game that stopped them advancing to that truely top level of player.

I’m guessing Tom Stewart had no case to answer for?
I didn't mind what I saw of him 2 or so years ago (think he was playing back pocket / HBF?)
