Before social media, if you went out in public yelling profanities and insults people would see your face, think you were nuts and actively avoid you.

Now, people spew profanities and insults on Facebook and Twitter, get attention for it, and no one knows who they are.

It's a cesspool.

The most pointless match of the year....
Not for the Suns who make the finals for the 1st time!
.
Bulldogs can start planning for mad Monday as this game is over.

It is such a simple thing to fix though, if you trade your first out in a year you have a F/S prospect and someone bids on him in the first...bad luck. It never irked me that teams get a Daicos for pick 5 (though seriously, WTF, bid on him pick 1) as much as it does that they could trade out that first round pick the year before for a better pick in that draft and then just amass a few shite picks, or trade the first in the year of the F/S for a first the year after.

The way I look at it, if you want two father sons or three academy players, go get the first round picks to make it happen, if you don't, you get one and the rest get snapped up by others.

AFL always stuff up solutions. It’s pretty easy, if you go into trade week with a first and come out without one and your f/s is his on in the first round then tough luck. If you didn’t have one to begin with then you can have the player and the required points are taken off next year’s picks. That way you always have to use a first to match a first round bid.

Mate - don't think the AFL or the clubs give two shits about the 47 expats who will be slightly inconvenienced by watching the game at 3:00am on a Thursday night rather than 3:00am on a Friday night. And nor should they.

I think my point is the AFL need to do better at being more consistent, not everyone has the ability to change their dates at short notice. If people were able to see well in advance that each type of final is played on this day people could plan. For example, the AFL changes which final plays when yearly. Why? I couldnt see any prior advertisement either. They could have had pre arranged dates for each final.

I'm not sure regional Peru is high on the AFL's priority list

you are aware regional peru has the same time zone as the East Coast of the USA? or are you not familiar how that works.
