We should be very thankful Port gave up a pick for Lukoscious which is going to be around Sharp’s pick.

Rumours aside, I think Rozee would be the perfect player for Port to trade for NWM. Not a great captain, doesn’t stand up in big games, can’t do the hard stuff and hardly inspiring. They’ve sent him back to HB to get cheaper disposals and he’s looked okay but he’s not the most important player on their list. If Port can get him to go to Saints (or another Melbourne team) they’d try for an even swap (maybe 2nd rounders thrown in) which would be a HUGE win for Port.

I think the rumour thing is crap.

I expect Carr to replace Rozee - probably with JHF. He is the softest, prettiest captain that team has ever had. He was a poor choice. Port Adelaide historically have hard men as captain. Russell Johnson, Ebert, Bucky Cunningham, Mark Williams and more recently Primus, Boak and Cassisi (ordinary player but tough).

Rozee is a disgrace and I would hate him as captain. Love seeing the crows forwards manhandle him after we score a goal and absolutely rag-doll him. He is so so soft (and pretty). Can’t imagine Rozee wants to leave the state though as on a helluva long contract

They are at risk as their percentage got hammered last week.

GWS have a big game against the Suns next week which could prove crucial if Dogs keep winning.

Reckon we are better off with Dogs being knocked out.

Yep, this is their best chance of a percentage booster. A lot of top 9 teams not making the most of their opportunities this round

I agree overall but in such an even top 9 there will be lots of dangerous teams 5-8. Bullies, Hawks, GWS can be dangerous. Ditto Freo or Magpies. So happy we look to have 2 home finals and should mean minimum a prelim finals berth and a decent chance for much more
