They were just showing the Gold Coast ANZAC Day jumper on TV.

Immediately reminded me how Kochie chose Gold Coast as their China opponent. Then on the eve of the match suddenly realised their jumper has the same colours as the Chinese flag.

Ha ha that photo look like something out of Coneheads😂

All this rubbish about JHF and booing - who gives a crap. Boo if you want or don't if you don't want. Don't tell people what they can and can't do providing its not personal abuse.

The way JHF finished the game on Saturday night is a portent into the future - he would not give a stuff if he is booed - he will let his footy do the talking and his last 1/4 footy when the game was on the line looked pretty powerful to my eye

I don't remember it even getting to that stage. We refused to match a 5 year deal, but we were reported a month out (when he got down for a bit of powder) that we put contract talks on hold and had refused to talk money. Plus Crouch had gone to the media in July-August that he wanted to stay at Adelaide.

I think it's safe to say we were hellbent on forcing Brad to leave because we wanted that draft pick.
Brad had a contract on the table and the club withdrew it.

Of course it would have nothing to do with hubby who just happens to be JHF's manager...

Yeah, massive over reaction.

I don't personally boo a player but I don't mind if others do it. As a player you have to deal with it and I don't think comments like this help. Adds to the atmosphere.

Kane Cornes keeps telling us JHF is a competitive beast and a win at all costs type of player. If that’s the case then I would of thought it would motivate him.

I think booing JHF is incredibly immature. Surely we are better than that?

Let's be honest, if he came home to us for exactly the same reasons, we would be loving him.

I'm not a booer, but if I was, plenty of other players I would go after first - Cotchin, Gunston, Zorko, Lobb to name a few.

Yep, doesn’t matter how old you are, but to be boo’d when ever you play, especially for a 19 year old, would affect you.

You’re not booing an unsportsmanlike act or a poor umpiring decision, you’re intentionally booing someone on a national stage to make their life a misery.

Odd thing to do and to condone.

Yeah we it should be saved for special occasions, high stakes games where that mental impact will affect the result.

No jade..

hassling, spitting on, throwing shit at and verbally abusing players as they run down the race after a loss is what you’d really class as “disgusting”…

which is what port fans do/have done to the players on their OWN team!

not a bit of harmless booing, when a player gets a possession on the field, from opposition supporters.. which is something thats happened in competitive sport since Jesus was a boy!..

but the Powa don't wanna mention the way a lot of their clubs fans act do they…

the hypocrisy of that fxxked up club full of “woe is us“ whiners knows no bounds.. wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to hear that Koshie and the port marketing team has been in the background telling Ken to make a bigger deal of this issue as another attempted “us against the world“ call to arms shout out to their dumbfxxk supporters..

you watch they’ll probably start selling “I stand with JHF” flags in their merch shops soon to try and make a quick buck out of it!

Gather Round would def be a huge hit in Perth. Good point about timezone tho.

Still they are used to getting screwed with Sunday arvo timeslots and 530pm Friday "night" games so wouldnt notice.

They have to be next cab off rank. Would sell out Optus Stadium every day no doubt.
Can't drive to Perth from Eastern states in reality just to watch football. Flying is okay for some but families, cheer squads etc might find it expensive compared to driving over to Adelaide. AFL said 60,000 tickets sold to interstate fans this year. I'm not sure if that many would fly to Perth.

Now we know it works in Adelaide, it will be massive next year.
