We would absolutely be stupid beyond belief if we dont tell Keays to hard tag N Daicos next week...
Daicos will take him to half forward, so we’ll need a plan b for when that happens.

Nothing has changed. If the federal government tips in money for the stadium, this goes ahead.Sarcasm meter on the blink?
You'd be well aware of my thoughts on the Greens...

Speaking of Collingwood and last quarter horror shows, anyone remember that time in 2010-11(?) they kicked 11 goals in the last 20 minutes against us to turn a 20-odd point deficit to a 40-odd point win?
My last Pies away game was the McGovern draw... with my Dad & sister who was living in Melbourne at the time. 1st time Dad had been back to the MCG since the 1956 Olympics. Was a memorable game.Oh god, I was at that game with a couple of mates (one Collingwood and one Crow supporter) at Telstra Dome (or was it Etihad Stadium or Colonial Stadium).
Hope he was chasing goldMy last Pies away game was the McGovern draw... with my Dad & sister who was living in Melbourne at the time. 1st time Dad had been back to the MCG since the 1956 Olympics. Was a memorable game.

We got there early & walked around the stadium... as there is lots of memorabilia including from the Olympics.Hope he was chasing gold![]()
Did a level 2 coaching and had a dinner and tour there amazing what’s there that people don’t seeWe got there early & walked around the stadium... as there is lots of memorabilia including from the Olympics.
I'd run jordan on him. Make daicos have to be accountable. Sure daicos can hurt us but if he does not defend dawson, he WILL hurt collingwood the other way and they will be vary wary of our multi pronged forward lineSo how does one stop Nick Daicos?
As soon as he leaves the back line do you rotate players to go with him?
Cant we just relocate por powa down there..solve all the problems
Mutineer lol literally within hours Albo appears to have made decision to fund the stadium and there will be a Tasmanian side.
Na, ablett jnr was in another league.Nick Daicos - what a freak. Dominating the competition in your second year should be illegal. It's early days, but he could be the next Gary Ablett Jr.
We need Dawson in the guts to inflict maximum damage it we are any chance to win.I'd run jordan on him. Make daicos have to be accountable. Sure daicos can hurt us but if he does not defend dawson, he WILL hurt collingwood the other way and they will be vary wary of our multi pronged forward line
Yep..right where daicos will beWe need Dawson in the guts to inflict maximum damage it we are any chance to win.
He plays half back & runs forward.Yep..right where daicos will be
Just think back to carlton and cripps. Dawson went head to head and towelled him upHe plays half back & runs forward.
We need Dawson playing in the middle at most centre bounces concentrating on inflicting maximum damage.
We are better off using someone else to minimise the impact of Daicos than our most influential player.
But Cripps started the game in the middle... which is my point.Just think back to carlton and cripps. Dawson went head to head and towelled him up

Wasn't there a stretch of games with North under Brad Scott where they got overrun in the last quarter? I think it was 8 or 9 in a row and it included the Kerridge/Petrenko comeback
Mate where’s the pic of you drinking the penfolds grange from the coaches box ?Huge crowd at the G... perfect 24 degrees here today in Melb too...
Interesting doesn’t look like there will be a roof

There'd you read that?Interesting doesn’t look like there will be a roof
2013. They lost seven games by two goals or less, including three where they had a five goal lead (one vs us) and one they lost to Nic Nat after the siren.Wasn't there a stretch of games with North under Brad Scott where they got overrun in the last quarter? And yet I'm sure we'll "back our system in" and he'll have another+35 2 goal game and we'll say in the presser that he wasn't the sole reason for the loss and that the team as whole needs to defend the whole ground better.
