People need to give the MLB more love on here. Just witnessed one of the all time great finals series (2025 World Series)

Baseball for me is what I imagine test cricket looks like to those who have no interest in cricket.People need to give the MLB more love on here. Just witnessed one of the all time great finals series (2025 World Series)

For some reason, I cant recall, I actually sat down and watched with that game with intent, and boy did I fall head over heels in love with the game.
Found myself searching up phrases and plays and positions etc, over the coming weeks.
Now I watch the game every week and I love it. But I can absolutely understand why people don't.
AFL will always be my #1 but I do love the NFL.
1. AFLJesus. I cut my teeth on playing Madden in the 90's. It's how you learn all the coverages and offensive plays.
I love sports, so don't mind NFL, but wouldn't rate in top 5 of sports I'd want to watch. Top 5 after thinking about it for 5 seconds, probably forgotten something really obvious.
1. AFL
2. Test Match Cricket
3. NBA
4. World Cup Football
5. Premier league / champions league
1. AFL
2. Big Bash (good casual fun over summer holidays)
3. Test Cricket
4. NFL
5. Netflix
No interesting in watching day to day of baseball. Will maybe catch some World Series.People need to give the MLB more love on here. Just witnessed one of the all time great finals series (2025 World Series)
Dont watch mutch or at all, but have enjoyed the few live games i have attended. No interesting in watching day to day of baseball. Will maybe catch some World Series.
I've done the US once on my travels. Attended an NBA game which was fun, had a Yankees game locked in before I headed onwards to Europe. Got rained off and so didn't get to go. Was very disappointed.Dont watch mutch or at all, but have enjoyed the few live games i have attended.
Love rugby, and would probably add the wallabies to my top 5, pushing our premier league. As a rugby union tragic the complete disregard for the sport in these lists makes me sad.
Interested to hear if people used to watch the game but have been turned off recently given the lack of wallabies success and/or the way the game is now being run/adjudicated - or just had zero interest to begin with.
just like another spoon campaign in 2010Reminds me of everyone assuming Richmond were a shoe-in for the 2025 spoon and wondering if they'd even win a game
Nek minnut

I'm from WA so never was into either rugby but I do remember them seemingly being bigger in the 80s. I even know the names of a lot of players back then like campese. As a rugby union tragic the complete disregard for the sport in these lists makes me sad.

I followed the Wallabies from early 90s to mid-2000s, when the game was flourishing. I've since lost any interest in it to the point where I couldn't name a single player. (I assume Honey Badger no longer plays). As a rugby union tragic the complete disregard for the sport in these lists makes me sad.

Don't think of the Ashes squads - Head, Tongue, Wood and Root might not work as well. There's a good reason "just think about baseball" works well.
There is precedent in England when Wimbledon relocated from SW London to Milton Keynes. One thing that I can’t wrap my head around with NFL is teams up and moving away from cities. It just seems so bizzare. You do that in England people would burn the club down and even here an AFL club changing cities would have such an uproar. If the Eagles chmaged cities, I’d probably stop watchong footy
