Greene's a much better and younger player than Krakouer was, too, so I could see him playing AFL again.

Wow, that is a lot of charges. The way footy is on attitude these days, I don't think he will play again.

Not that it changes the seriousness of his conduct but many of the charges are probably in the alternative. Intentionally causing injury being a more serious charge than recklessly causing the same injury.

Police have done the old age tactic of giving Greene 55 charges - This is done on the basis that 1) you try to get the accused to plea bargain, 2) to make one of the charges stick. Greene may be suspended by GWS for some weeks and then will be playing again.

While I do know what you mean, Greene's seems a fair bit more serious on the face of it.

We all knew a guy who r*ped a girl.. but he was allowed to run around and play on for years..

I have zero faith that the AFL will take it seriously.. even if he is jailed.. he will get out in 2-3 years and go straight back onto a list...

What are you talking about. Marley Williams played all of 2013 after being charged for assault. He was only stood down for the time in between being found guilty and sentencing. Of course Toby Greene should play. What happens if the DPP decides not to prosecute Greene - And this often happens.

No we didn't, it was alleged and taken as fact without any admission of guilt or proof to verify the claim.

After last year we should know better than to accept such serious accusations as fact.

Police had plenty of proof.. far more than ASADA will ever have against us.. but corruption saw it buried until said player finished his career.

Everyone who was involved in the case knew he was guilty.. his team mates knew he was guilty and most of the AFL knew he was guilty..

But I'm happy to leave it at that.
