Personally I think we should stop pandering to people who have the attention span of a goldfish, but that's just me.

Using Soccer as an example is stupid. The EPL for example have something like 38 games a season so the total amount of time invested by the supporters is much higher. We don't want to have a situation where we are encouraging the public to invest less time in our game.

To far gone. As far as the attendance of children is concerned it seems to me that the game is priority 3 to 5.

The Big Bash really accelerated the race to the bottom with the music and flame throwers.

The only point to shortening games by any length would be to fit more games in, to the point where all teams play each other twice in a season (probably too long) or a conference set-up where teams play each other evenly over a 2-year period or something.

Basically, if it isn't in the interest of fixture fairness, it's a useless discussion.
