They did I think, but the scans revealed quite a deep tear which requires a fair bit of work
So it's not off the bone at least, though?

Ala Lloyd in 2006. He tore three of four ligaments off the bone from memory.

Nah not quite that bad. Lloyd/Riewoldt levels of hamstring injuries are extraordinarily rare nowadays but it's still a bad one. I don't think it's off the bone but it's a tear in the second or third layer of the muscle which is so far apart that it won't heal naturally, they need to suture it back together

Still tossing up who to tip tonight. Thinking St Kilda might pull off the upset... Is it even an upset?

If pendles misses ill Pick saints. But riewoldt is under a cloud too so ill wait until last minute to make my tip.

Interesting graphic was shown on League teams. Was something like if pendles misses this game they will be missing the top 5 from last years B&F through either injury or having left the club.

Anyone gets the chance to listen to Goddard on SEN give it a go. Its on the club website. Really interesting thoughts on development and the AFL pathways. I Like listening to him speak about it, wonder what type of role he will play after his career is finished. Coaching would suit him i think.

This is another one... high scoring crap where it's the incompetence of the teams that is allowing the scoring rather than skill and hard work.

Collingwood are in a similar boat to Carlton, except their superstars are superstars and not pretenders and the rest of them are young and inexperienced, not old and rubbish.

Carlton do look old and rubbish every time they step on the field there is no excitement or enthusiasm in that team.

The Pies really relied on Pendlebury and Swan to get back into the game just then. If the Saints can curtail one if not both the Pies could be in strife here.
I wonder if Swan can play mid all night? Pendlebury has a sore ankle to. The Pies delivery into their fwd50 was disgraceful.
