The one I'd ask, is if you had one player to add to your club for the rest of their career, who would it be? With a catch, you have to give up the player with the corresponding number.

Last year I'd have said Tex Walker. This year I'm going to go with Patrick Dangerfield (sorry Yestin) with HM to Callan Ward, Jack Riewoldt and Kurt Tippett

The NBA salary cap is $70 million for a roster of 21 or so. AFL has a salary cap of around 10.6 million for a list of 44. It's massive.

Yeah, and the owners are billionaires, one team itself changed hands for 2 billion dollars and the tv rights deal is an absurd figure (and that's just for the US market). oh and guys like Lebron have a 'maximum' allowed salary which sees miss out on even more money
