So carlolton looked pretty rubbish last night. Not sure who they were missing if any. Weitering looks alright but gee wiz there's not a lot of talent there. Good times.

Speaking of Weitering, does anyone who pays more attention than I do have an opinion on him being developed as a swingman?

Carlton don't have the luxury of locking him in as a backman. Their backline is their strongest area going forward, with the forward line being the most speculative. Their other forward prospects have kicked 12 goals between them, they have a long way to go in that area.

they were always going to be worse this year compared to last, and may end up even worse next year

it was always going to be a tough slog for them but in a couple of seasons all these years of very high draft picks should start to make their mark
