Sometimes when I watch the Dogs play it affirms my view that their premiership means nothing to the rest of the competition except to confirm that it's a really good thing to be in the right place at the right time.

We only delude ourselves if we think "but look at what the Dogs did in 2016."

It's a meaningless anomaly until proven otherwise.

What I really like about Berevage is that he knows it and he is trying to change the team. Only problem is that their spine stinks.

They also have a number of players whose disposal ranges from questionable to below AFL standard. It makes it even more strange that Webb can't get a game.

They have a gameplan thats hard to break down and they don't rely on just one player to win it.

I personally think they are favourite to win the lot again and even when not playing well still win games.

It's not about that though (although obviously they're all not bright) it's about them not bringing anything to the table.

Apart from BT with an occasional anecdote about a certain player's dad's bus building exploits, how many commentators can you say actually add anything to the broadcast?
