Good effort so far but I wouldn't trust them not to fall apart at some stage over the next two quarters.

Geelong just have to be slightly less shit and they'll win relatively comfortably. Handy that it's not a big % booster at least.

Is Darling the most uncoordinated campaigner to play the game? Some of his attacks on the ball are just laughable. Comical stuff!

If Geelong finish 1st/2nd (quite possible with their draw), what happens if we are 4th/3rd? A trip down to Kardinia Park again? We might have won there this year and also in that final, but I reckon that would still be a nightmare scenario.

Gillon has already stated that it was wrong and will never happen again.

Not a fan of De Goey, but good on him for standing up for himself in this case.

"I want to openly address the relentless pursuit and persecution of athletes by the media to create an uneducated, bias and ill-informed narrative that has gone too far. I am one of the lucky ones with amazing support, however not all athletes are so lucky.

"This will end in tragedy if no one speaks up. It’s time for change."

Nothing wrong with his message, but plenty wrong with the fact that it came from him and trying to paint himself as a victim. Of course a player who has been accused of assault and sexual harassment several times is gonna find himself scrutinised when he spends his break partying and pulling women's shirts off.

The message is way more relevant to the JHF situation.

De Goey is definately a boofhead, and he continues to cause major headaches for himself, his manager and his football club.

But some have, and continue to, exaggerate and extrapolate what they saw in that video, without knowing the context and opinions of the people involved. Trial by (social) media.

I haven't seen the footage so this comment isn't based on that but on the actual man.

He epitomes the exact opposite of what we are trying to teach young men. In a profession that young men look up to, he uses his wealth and status to prey on women scoring him a history of sexual assault, assault and debauchery. We shouldn't be normalizing his behavior.

Getting really sick of the AFL brushing sexual assault and violence against women under the carpet.

Disappointing to also see Luke Ryan comment his support of De Goey.

In the cases of JHF and Bailey Smith, I totally agree that the media beat up is not good for the mental well-being of players. But De Goey trying to hop on this bandwagon is disgusting.

I'm all for benefit of the doubt and understand that things can be taken out of context. Two consenting adults are allowed to have fun.

Playing the 'woe is me' card after being convicted of indecent assault and harassment...yeah you're losing me there.

If he truly cared about the message, he'd realise he's not really in a position to advocate for it at the moment.

Remy Jackson also commented her support
