I have just realised. Neither of these teams are much good. They are really good defensively but crap offensively. They will get absolutely flogged by really strong offensive sides like the Crows or Lions

They already beat the Crows at home Geelong are in contention every year pretty much.

Can easily make a prelim from 5-6th

Wonder how they manage to attract and fit in all this regenerative talent year in year out.

Retirements of Selwood/Hawkins obviously freed up millions in the cap.

Rowell/Reid/JUH basically anyone decent OOC Geelong are looking into them heck they were entertaining Oliver for a little while :tearsofjoy:

Tomorrow Stewart hard hit. Wasn't high but GC players head hit the ground.
Will be interesting as we have heard for so long it's all about duty of care. Is it foreseeable that if you run past the ball and lay a legal bump that the player might hit his head on the ground? Yes it is, so therefore based on what they have said for so long, he should be given weeks. Guarantee it won't happen though.

Pearce got off because the tribunal said an illegal act must be committed before the outcome could be taken into account. So going by that, Stewart should be fine as there was nothing illegal with his bump.
