For anyone interested I have rated the Indigenous guernseys from best to worst. Here it is:

1. Hawthorn

Brilliant design. Experiments with some new colours which complement their standard colours very well. High level of detail in this one and a very original look which is distinctly indigenous in theme. This design bravely foregoes their trademark Hawk entirely but still stays loyal enough to their original colour pattern that is unmistakable who this guernsey belongs to.
Hawthorn's is the worst by a country mile. If I wasn't told it was theirs, I'd have no idea!

I envy all you Melbourne people!
I wish I was in Melbourne at the moment. Playing Collingwood really brings it home for me as I used to go the game with a good collingwood supporting friend, get smashed and have a great time. Anyway hope everyone has a good weekend and enjoys the game!

I love all the themed rounds in the AFL at the moment we
have the Anzac day round the indigenous round and the
multicultural round, but i think there is room in the fixture
for a new round the Ginger round and come to think of it
a Ginger team of the century. People with red hair are
valued members of the community as well as integral to
the success of the AFL.

Come on Gillon make Ginger round a Reality.

I want fat slob, to lazy to actually go to the footy, sitting on his/her couch watching on TV round

Toss up between 2010 and 2012 for mine. Prob 2012 because they weren't F/S picks as the best

Piss stained Y front years - most of them, but 2009, right when we needed to top up the list with quality was a total bust. 2002 stinks pretty bad too

Interesting little titbit from the AFL fan survey, we were voted the third most respected club amongst opposition supporters after Hawthorn and Sydney.

Looks like we wasted quite a few top 10 picks before 2012 but nailed them all and some more after that. ;)

Yeah that is true, iv'e actually done the same study for every team
and there is an eerily similar trend among most teams. I will post
the results in the next few days.

Obviously no Saints, North or Crows supporters in that survey.

Having 3 top 10 picks and a #17 and #26 in 00-02 and coming away with Walsh, Power, McMahon, Faulkner and Birss is as big a reason as any we didn't win a flag 08-10.

Could very easily have ended up with two or more of Burgoyne, Dal Santo, McVeigh or Richards, who would have been handy. But we were Clayton'd viciously right up the backside.

Surprised nobody has mentioned the Wood curse. Earlier in the year, he appeared on the footy show and subsequently missed that week and the next with hamstring issues, he appeared on 360 last week and missed last week along with the next two with hamstring issues again. Can we please put someone else up for tv media from now on.

IF anyone wants a laugh, the following was posted on the Saints board..

"Our list is so young that they watch the Wiggles on the team bus."
Close. They watch the Wiggles alright but it's with their grandchildren.
