Until Bergman signs a long term extension, that 50/50 feeling will pretty much remain.

NWM won't commit to Port if there isn't a strong inclination that Port can get a deal done. We saw a similar situation with JHF, whereby the media didn't break the news of his intention to leave North for Port until Cripps and Rawlings had thrashed out the basic parameters of a deal.
From a dodgy memory we had another big deal in the queue before JHF pulled the pin.

Dunkley always had brisbane ahead of us, family all moved there.

Wasn't there that weird thing about his sister?

sister qld coz she plays for a netball team there, family have moved there im pretty sure as well

Dunks girlfirend plays netball in adelaide, so we thought he would pick port.

as the trade period got closer and closer, dunks hadnt nominated us, we knew brisbane would land him but yes we were the frontrunners at first

Worked out for both parties in the end. Lions get Dunkley and Port gets a "generational" talent in JHF.

Tippah Dwan left the Thunderbirds and joined the Qld Firebirds, where Dunkley's sister played (and still does). Lions also took the spud brother as a reserves top up. Good weather, all the siblings together and no dry spells...hard to refuse

Nas’s Milera side comes from his grandmother Pammy Coleman married Nugget Milera , Pammy being Peter Burgoyne seniors first cousin so close with the Burgoynes .
The Wanganeen side comes from Gavin’s sister from a different father , remembering Gav is only a Wanganeen by marriage , his mother is a Davey and his father a white man Gary Turnbull . So a strong connection with the Ceduna Burgoyne/Davey mob .
Nas’s father of course being Terry Milera who played the Magpies , St. Kilda and later Glenelg .
So definitely a strong connection to Port .
Pic of NAS playing for Kooniba , Cedunas Aboriginal team , the oldest Aboriginal team in Australia , hope we get him

Listening to the talk about TDK this morning makes me think St Kilda might have some interest in Lord (they may ask for Whitlock but I don't think we would.ket him go).

If they get in TDK as a free agent and trade out Marshall for picks and replace him with Lord that might be a win for them.

Marshall isn't really a forward and won't want to play 2nd ruck to TDK who is getting paid twice his wage.

Think Lord needs to show form for that to work.

I doubt Lord has the kind of value you're imagining him to have.

He's probably close to delist material at this stage.
