The Crows board does seemed to have moved on from NWM and focus has shifted to Oliver from Melbourne.

Wow, that's not even the Temu version.

I doubt that very much.

What a steaming pile of shit it is.
That's why its so funny. Saints supporters suggesting unrealistic demands; 3 x early first rounders, Bergman is still an option despite re-signing at the start of July and making suggestions that Port will entice Bergman to leave to form a part of a hypothetical NWM trade, onus is on Port to satisfy them, NWM won't go to the PSD if a trade falls through etc. 🤣

The thread on the main board is a brain rot but at the same time, its hilarious.

So they can't train but they can play.

What a bloody shambles. Nothing quite like putting underdone players out there late in the season to potentially exacerbate an injury resulting in a shortened upcoming pre-season.

Can't even waste this season properly, bloody incompetent hacks.
Robbie Gray barely trained yet always played as the season went on. We’re carrying so many injuries, it’s been a shite year for stability and form.

Just looked at the Trading Board thread and see North fans demented with rage about JHF have joined the party. What a shitshow.

Don't forget the Crows fans who have even degenerated into "not the real Port".

The moderation on that board is horrific.

I hope they're not considering that. He was an ageing star who knew how to get his body right for gameday in an era playing finals.

We're now in a pointless season the club will erase from the history books where there's no benefit to playing anyone who can't train. Or for that matter someone like Aliir who can barely hobble through a full game.

All they're really doing is risking their preparation for 2026, when Port Adelaide decides it wants to be a football club again.

I don't believe we can get NWM as we just don't have the picks or playing capital to do it, we are better off lookin to secure Butters and develop form within as the cost for NWM will be too great.

There is no link between NWM and Butters. There is no reason not to go for both.

We will absolutely get a deal done and keep Butters unless it’s personal and he wants out.

What we will pay for NWM will be no more than any club would pay. Less than the Crows and less than St Kilda believe is fair.

The only player close to NWM that has his potential that Port can develop is Dougie and he’s not on our list yet.

I hope you are right, but I just cant see it at the moment.
However in saying that, we have managed to get this done in the past and maybe I'm just looking at worst case scenario.

Nah I meant that we wouldn't have enough draft capital to get it done.
Looking St. Kilda they look unhinged at the moment, they onboard Ross Lyon, someone who burnt them in the past, they are going backwards under him and I reckon they'll expect something crazy for him.

In saying that, It might be the supporter base im basing that on, just look at North at the moment. Seriously lost the plot that group.

Fox Sports verdict

NASIAH WANGANEERN-MILERA (St Kilda — Non-Free Agent)

Arguably the hardest — and most publicised — contract call across the entire season. The 22-year-old Saints superstar has taken his game to yet another level in his fourth AFL season, with his monetary value skyrocketing even further. There are three parties, and three parties only in the running right now for Nas’ signature — St Kilda, Adelaide and Port Adelaide. Wanganeen-Milera has several close friends of his playing at the latter, namely Jason Horne-Francis and Jase Burgoyne. The argument for Adelaide? They’ve had a very large figure on the table for the dashing defender for a long time now, and jumped the gun on St Kilda with a ultra-lucrative offer. It is now at the point where every day he remains unsigned, it looks better and better for the South Australian clubs in the race for him. At time of writing, this is still a very tough one to get a read on, but it’s beginning to point back towards him leaving.

Verdict: Leaving. St Kilda’s confidence will be diminishing by the day, while Port Adelaide and Adelaide’s rises. Should he leave the Power would be the likeliest landing spot.

Every day he goes unsigned, the more likely he is coming home.

Trade comparisons.

Neale who was contracted went for 6, 19 and 55, with 30 going back.

Dangerfield and Pick 50, went for 9, 28, and Den Gore (Pick 55).

Neale and Dangerfield had better CVs at 25 years of age. Nasiah will be 23 at seasons start, but you could argue there is no proof he will be better than either of these players.

Going on this, I can’t see us not getting Nasiah with a reasonable player outside of our top 8, and a future first. It just really depends on whether St Kilda want a first round pick this year, or a reasonable player. We can absolutely use another club to get into the first round if needed.

And St Kilda fans suggestions of 3 firsts is ridiculous.

I called out the moderating on that board once and I've been banned for life ever since. Jeremias is the biggest loser on this forum.

Danger did go out of his way to ensure the Crows got a better deal than they would have.

They might not have got Gore.

One of the biggest Saint Kilda nuffies there is a mod. Incessant posting about how much NWM is worth and how Port don't have the capital.

Like, we know brosef, but what happens if/when he nominates Port as his preferred destination?
Have a discussion that's not just "SOS will be like, 2 firsts and bergman or no deal!!" over and over again.

It's pointless.

North fans are special. They couldn't have been given any more assistance and still they are taking forever to get off the mat.

To be fair, they haven't gotten the "before round 1" priority picks that other Victorian clubs have been handed. And those Victorian clubs have been ones that went on to become "dynasty" clubs. Or even the freebie pick of getting Rowell and Anderson that GC were handed.

Danger did go out of his way to ensure the Crows got a better deal than they would have.

They might not have got Gore.
Dangerfield also isn't a valid comparison. He was also pre-future picks trading. So it was much more of a time of just getting what they could offer.
