But if he chose the crows it would be like when Buddy ended up going to Sydney when everyone thought he was going to GWS.

Keep reflecting on comments made about Houstons trade in which it was inferred that most deals are in train 12 + mths ahead of when anyone gets wind of them. The comment went along the lines that he was known to gone well before the charade and media stuff started. What changed was his destiny. Just makes me wonder how far ahead of time has been the nas manoveuring been going on.

Serious questions. Would acquiring NWM ultimately cost us Butters if we can’t meet his salary demands or match RFA offers next year? Would it help keep Butters if our footy improves with an extra gun?

Does a stockpile of Butters, JHF, NWM, Rozee, Bergman and Georgiades compromise the rest of our list build to the detriment of team success, or can that all be fixed with better culture and coaching?

Seriously, why would he want to come to Port if he cares about his career? We have an unknown entity, Carr, mentored by a known entity Ken and a bunch of insipid players.
