Used to think it was a fair bit to drink in a week.

absolutely mind blowing how so many saints supporters and even other clubs supporters are literally saying Port MUST trade butters out for basically sweet F all then give all of that to Saints PLUS another player so Bergman for example PLUS a future 1st

So they want Port to get 2 first round picks for Butters then saints get 3 first round picks plus Bergman... for Nasaih.. and Port lose Butters... seriously

When and how the heck has all of sudden Butters value been dropped to what appears to be half of Nasaih? I'm gobsmacked.

This crap isn't just on bigfooty but all over Facebook and X where the clear bias and derangement from these people is off the charts.

this whole trading years in advanced has clearly just inflated the value of picks for things now.. so a player who should be just 1 first rounder is all of a sudden. worth multiple 1sts..

Sorry but Nasaih is 2 first round picks value (1 to 18 range) and that's it. no player should be worth more then that regardless. so whether it's pick 10 and 18 as example that is all that's offered because the club can't get better then sorry, that's it.

If ports 2 firsts for 2026 and 2027 potentially range between 6 and 14 as example so say it becomes pick 8 and pick 14 as a rough look, then that's it. Forget this Tasmania team entering the draft garbage. Accept it and move the F on.

Whilst I agree with that. it's just appearing everywhere. Heck even the Vic media are trying to under value Butters so port get less and then over value nasaih so again, port get shafted and yet the Saints people are whining thinking it's them that gets shafted.

They can't expect players that are out of contract EVEN if they are a top 5 player in the league be worth more than what any club can really get. Hence the 2 firsts is and should be fine. The only reason it would potentially be more then that as in 3 1st with later picks swapped is if the player is contracted. That's when the club has power and not when they are OOC

but I'm more peeved lately reading the sheer amount of so called saints supporters (vics) stating they will boo him before hes even made up his decision... so another Hornet scenario

This is how trade period works in reality, but there is no shortage of folks who will tell you otherwise before reality dawns for them when trades are finalised.

At this stage we wont know their thoughts or views on it. Being kept very quiet. Id imagine Gavin and even his Mum would be saying to come to Port only if he comes back to SA, for starters and I'd say they would be seeing if he'd return but also saying it's his journey to take. There'd be things being said within that close family to some degree but they'd know that anything that might get out would make it extremely hard on Nasaih... like I said, there's already talk from saints supporters as example, that they'd boo and basically give him grief if he leaves and even to the point of doing it now if he's still playing until season end but something came out he wants to leave... I mean, just have to look at the racist crap that him and Jase posted not long ago. That crap would be next level if something got out. They probably know this. Not implying Saints fans are that way inclined but people are... people.. and it could be anyone from any club that are basically pricks.

Chief remember when I told you ages ago that port fans don’t feel welcome on the main boards and that it’s a vic centric circle jerk and you dismissed it as hogwash and said you never heard any complaints?

Awesome to see all these warnings and permbans handed out to port supporters while those boards continue to devolve into a mess.

The NWM thread on the Draft and Trading Board is a monstrosity and a nightmare to moderate I'm sure.

The moderators there are trying to stamp out inflammatory, off-topic nonsense and if you are going to go there and post that way you will get pulled up. There have been at least a couple of warnings to cease and desist so it's on posters if they continue in that vein.

It isn't helped by crows supporters jumping in with their views on Port's list then Port supporters responding and soon there are pages of discussion that have nothing to do with a possible trade.
