My gut feel is he'll stay with St Kilda. If not Gav would surely be in his ear, seeing the club he loves hurting.

Doropoulos now saying ‘there are suggestions’ it is between Crows and Saints.
I love the confidence here on this forum. Like people have said. Come play footy for the team you grew up following and with mates you love. Everything you hear in the media until he announces is just speculation.Reading some posts on here I thought Crom had already won it.
Because he keeps getting best on groundWhy does he keep agreeing to do post game interviews.
The answers to the questions definitely seemed awkward.

I agreeGavin was very keen for us to draft NWM. NWM grew up a Port supporter, he’s close mates with Jase and JHF and his step-dad played for the Maggies. We’d have to really drop the ball like we did with Scott Thompson to stuff this up.

He is a campaignerDoropoulos is the guy who got Wines suspended during covid.
Also went straight to Port training when the crows got busting breaking covid training rulesDoropoulos is the guy who got Wines suspended during covid.
Maybe - but you'd think he'd be like every other player who's moved on and wait until they'd got through the club's best and fairest night etc (like Houston did).Surprised nobody here has joined the dots that he might be waiting for Adelaide’s season to end before announcing his decision so he’s not a distraction to their finals campaign.
I don't remember it that way? I just remember everyone talking about how his entire family were crows supporters and he'd crown up a crow. When Dawson announced he was coming to SA the media to a man reported that his preference would be Port. They were assuming this would be the case because at the time we were looking okay and they were looking shit. They were wrong.
29th SeptemberDoes anyone know when stkilda B&F is.
The only reason I can think of Nasiah picking the Crows over Port is that he wants the Saints to get a decent return on the deal. Perhaps he has been told what the Crows are offering St Kilda. Anyway, wake me up when he signs for Port.

Reckon we leave people's kids off the page. The last week has shown players, coaches etc are able to stand up for themselves - families can't. Two of those kids are still at school.

Exactly, last year we were top 2 and the year before that top 3. You don't get back to back top 4 finishes by accident or with shit lists, this year it's clear as day they checked out mentally. I've got great confidence in Carrs ability to change the attitude almost overnight and get us back into the top 4 next year, thats without adding Nas.
Yep going to a club that the players checked out basically all season wouldn’t get you excited being part of that mentality. We shall see, Nas picking Crows over us would be indicative of our reputation around the AFL.
I assume for opposition players from the outside looking in, seeing our players basically quit on the season because Ken is leaving would be an incredibly incredibly poor look.
Most players joining new clubs do it because they ultimately want to win.
Port in the AFL weren't around when Gavin entered. He had to do what he had to do. He was lured away from the Bombers to come back as inaugural Captain for us. Suggests to me he had/has passion for Port Adelaide. Not sure what Essendon has to do with this.
So do you think Zak is staying then and also miles then ?I think Port are in a jam as they likely need their 2026 first to match a bid on Cochrane and then need multiple firsts to match bids on Pilot/Salopek/Rodan in 2027, even going into a points deficit.
Paying too much for NWM could derail the strategy for the next few years unless they move out a star player for picks.
