Very happy with that performance.

I particulary enjoyed watching Mitch Hahn and Robert Murphy step up and Jordan McMahon looks likely.

Disappointed Penny didn't get a longer run - Give Granty a rest !

I am really concerned that Darc has no back up - what if he were to go down ?

Eagleton is a class act and Matty Robbins looks set for a good year.

Smithy should play in midfield after dominating.

Bartlett was good and Harrison is handy.

Apart from queing for 15 mins to get in it was a good day.

I've been looking all over the place for some info on the game, so greatly appreciate the report Woofer! Sounds like it was good match, very disappointed that I had to work and couldn't get to the game myself.

Rapt with the result too, especially considering that Richmond (along with Hawthorn) were the teams to 'smash' us in the talls department in a few games last year, so at least the boys held their own in that department.

Agree with you in saying that Darcy's importance to the team has increased ten-fold this year. How did he go?- Ottens and Gale would have been very good opponents to see how he's coming along. Did Dooley get a run? Wiggins?

Good call on Robbins. From what I saw of his performance against Carlton/Adelaide last week, he could really step up and add some depth into the first 22. As I've said before, he's got the attrributes (pace/skill) to be a good quality player, so lets hope that he's turned the corner.

Was pleased to hear about the crowd of 4000 too, which was a good turn out for a praccy at the Whitten.

Once again, thanks for the report Woofer.

I think Dooley must have played for Werribee. I saw him wandering around in civvies. Didn't see Wiggins at all so he also must have played for Werribee.
I think Ottens and Gale only played 1/2 a game each but I could be wrong.
BTW I thought Hahn was terrific.

The set up in defence was very good-Ellis is a very important player to us when he is fit and playing well-which played well even without Croft. Grant was hard at it and imposed himself on several marking contests. We need another tall forward though and I think that the man for the job is Bowden, he runs straight at the ball and is a great kick/mark type. Dont get to carried away with the score-it was only Richmond and a half strength Richmond at that.

Hey people im new here.
I am a bulldogs fan im 14 male and from melbourne. I went to the bulldogs game against richmond on the weekend and I was very happy with their perfomance. Our backline played well with Ellis and Robbins taking some awesome marks. I reckon Harro will be a great player in yrs to come, and our forward line was pretty good with Grant and huddo kicking 7 goals between them. Our backline restricted richmond to 4.12.36 and I reckon we should be in for A good yr. We play westciast at subiaco on saturday which should be interesting, and the week after we have an intra club match. hope ta cyas there.

Welcome Phil. It's good to hear some encouraging words about the Doggies. I was at the game and was really impressed with the team, even though we are told that the Tigers were undermanned. But a win is a win and I thought our boys were really fired up which is a good sign.
Go Dogs!!!!!!

All, The Doggies did put in a good one against the Tigers. There was a lot of positional changes early on with both sides trying to an advantage with the match ups.
Libba tried to get onto Tivendale in the centre who then ran hard to the full forward position. The back line then had to be re-shuffled. Hahn and Murphy showed a bit with their ability to play against taller or smaller players. Robbins and Smith played great games. Grant played well but not great.
Bartlett provided a good target.

The only disspointment was it took about 1/2 an hour to get into the ground. Poorly managed.
