no, Terravista came from behind him off a poor run in the Manikato last year as well..Would you take the $2 on Chautauqua right now?

I remember the days when everyone said Chautauqua couldn't match the straight performances around a bend.
Now they're saying that the straight will favour Terravista.

yes pleaseI'll give you 15's. He ain't beating Chutauqua.
Terravista hasn't produced like that since.
yes please
can i have 200 on it?
Ninth Legion dropping in grade from a Group 1 wins IMO
Just watched Able Friends' win on the weekend - wow. Have seen some outstanding performances so far this spring.
Stiff mate, was never even in the picture til about 160m lol. Outstanding horse.backed gold-fun @10's .I was home(that pesky camera angle) serves me right for getting overs. never sad watching a champ win though. had AF second best bet as both the milers were pretty fit compared to most other attempts first up.
we probably won't get to see it, but i'd love a queen anne rematch on flat ground.
FFS - Ascot is flat - it's not like it was at Epsom. If you can't handle the furnace of a straight mile where its horse on horse with no excuses you can go home.
#teamsolow
Hadn't beaten up on those I don't think though at the trip, was a fantastic win. Might not be world beaters when they travel but they can be hard as **** to roll at home... which is why I hope they press on to Ascot with Chat even if they don't win in Honkers.Doubt it - Solow has proven in Dubai-France-UK he is the worlds best miler.
No doubt AF under performed but I'd back Solow against him all day. If you can't handle Ascot's straight mile your too week for the breed anyway.
Can't get excited about a horse beating up on a limited pool of horses endlessly - no matter how well he does it. But that's why I don't watch HK racing.
Re Happy Trails - no guarantee will run i guess hence pricebacked gold-fun @10's .I was home(that pesky camera angle) serves me right for getting overs. never sad watching a champ win though. had AF second best bet as both the milers were pretty fit compared to most other attempts first up.

also does this $10 all in for Happy trails in the Mackinnon make sense to anyone? i know looking at the form guide Fawkner and Pornichet beat him home in the CP but he spanked them the week before and they were both close to the rail in the CP. Contributer equal there on $10? Magic Artist there at 9 which we discussed and probably wouldnt go near over secret number. Magic Hurricane could go to the Lexus which i thought would make more sense.
I've only had 1 all in bet on the monday this spring and im not really a fan but I dont understand that price.
Chautauqua has come on since last year and he found bumps and road blocks during that race, Terravista has gone backwards.I am not saying the straight will favour Terravista, I am saying he goes like a camel at Moonee Valley and the one time he went down the straight he gave Chataqua windburn.
Edit just watched the Newmarket, Chataqua beat it then by a neck, Terravista was 1st up though. nothing between them IMO
You should know better by now, win a 2yr old or 3 yr old classic and go collect the 5mil a year at stud. The John O'Shea i know would never be a race dodger..
Henry Plumptre, aka the puppet master.
Sprinting needs a new kid on the block in this country (god knows we breed enough of them!), i know a lot of you guys love Chaut and rightly so but when Buffering and Terravista were still considered his biggest threats on Friday night it leaves me a bit, meh.
Honestly, stud value they are worried about? Drop in the ocean for the Shiek.. harden up and have a go soft campaigners.
