Sooo... a good day to top off a vomit week, hey?
Oh well, despite the return to school, things can only get better next week!

Lol yeah. At least it was good company and good food. Only positives of the whole day.

Which book?
I started a new series by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare. A bit Harry Potterish. Book 2 has just come out.

Some book about a woman who got busted for drugs in Thailand, then had her jail term transferred to the UK where she served time with the likes of Rosemary West.

On a bright note- I started and finished my new book early this morning/ this afternoon. Think I'll be reading quite a bit over the next week or two.
Was it ?

**** this. Langford and now Schoenclangers to have a flag
Langford has 2 :(

The fact that Lake has 3 from 3 years at HFC makes me want to do what he did to Drew Petrie to everybody associated with that disgrace and mockery of a football club

****ing shit as game, who was that ****ing **** of an eagles player who dropped that mark in the 3rd, get stuffed thanks again for another shit Grand Final. We went to the park by the 4th.

Darling, bloke is a complete tool. Also made a really bad **** up at the start of the game which realy burnt them.

Have you read Scarlo's yet?
Seems like every man and his dog can write a book these days
Ponting has a 700 page tome that he released a couple of years ago lol. tbh I personally couldn't think of anything much more boring than reading a sports person's own book.

Although Gideon Haigh's 'On Warne' was very good, he's a great writer and that's more about the team during his time in it and not just Shane.

I don't read much in general though.. maybe 1 book a year at most.

Could not bear to read anything of Ponting's. Never liked either him or Clarke. Don't know why. I just never warmed to either of them.

The only footy-related books I read were the greatness etc. books about Geelong. Easy reads, well written.

Bought Scarlo's book on pre-order but have not read more than a bit, I don't think, but I did skim it when I got it. Have too many books lined up that are more appealing but one day I'll get around to it.

You probably read lots of stuff online. No need for paper stuff. ;)

Clarke I agree with - but Punter was cool and at least when he was with his teammates you knew that he was mentally checked in with them also, not counting down the minutes until he could get away from them.

Did you read his book, cats? I think my nephews and nieces and sisters were on the bandwagon. Neither did it for me, though. I've barely followed any cricket because of them. Have only recently crept back because I smelt retirement!! Lol.
Didn't like Warney at all, either. :D
(Might as well be hung for a sheep as for a lamb ;))

The AFL site last week ran a headline about a blunder a Freo player made [Sheridan I think] with the headline "Did Sheridan drop the cup for Freo ?"

I hope if I went onto the AFL site now there's the same headline but with Darling's name there, cos he did.Could've been with in 19 points.

Does this website count ?

The internet is my reading :D
Of course! It's a veritable mine of valuable information :D
It's where you get all the breaking news that's worth getting- immediately and even before the club has released any info (damn their miserable hides. Why do they continue to tease us so?)- the only trick is working out what is and isn't truth! ;)

Geez I'm still having nightmares about that.

After that Darling drop Hawks kicked the next 4 goals to seal it.
