I loved catching the bus, it was a School Bus that took kids from Maroubra, through Eastern Suburbs to Vaucluse to + from school. It was the only time I actually met boys lol

I never went with my parents after age 9 because they are embarrassing people

When my Mum was teaching me how to catch the bus to school, I used to make her sit at the back of the bus, while I sat at the front, so people thought I was a big girl, going to school on my own

They also had a late 80s 4 cylinder Volvo hatch thingy that I borrowed briefly at one stage. Pretty slow, handled like a dog, ****in horrible to turn in the car-park as it was rear wheel drive with no power steering. And even though it was small drank a LOT of fuel. Worst car I've ever driven.

Also borrowed my cousin's Mitsi Colt at the same time, shitbox but it was 10 times the car that ****in Volvo was.

My Dad was a Ford man, we always had Ford Fairmonts lol in 1975, he decided to buy a Jaguar, British Racing Green + it was divine to drive, but it broke down all the time, so he traded it in on another Ford Fairmont + was given $$$ back lol

Probably.

Just dont see the point of them. Boys dont "take over" lessons like everyone usually says, so therefore girls are better off in girls only schools. Load of rubbish that argument.

Speaking of schools apparently, some schools are looking at reducing time allocated for recess. Who the hell thought that was a good idea? Recess is the only thing keeping most kids sane lol.

And dare I say it, slightly discriminatory against boys as they would be at a bigger detriment than girls? I mean reducing recess time would decrease the quantity and quality of physical outdoor play ( of which boys are more likely to engage in)

The dumbest thing ive ever heard is starting the day later to accomodate the older year levels. Like a 10am start.

If young people cant get off their ****ing ipads and get a decent night's sleep, that is their god damn fault. Yeah cater to them years 10-12, then what happens when they have 7-8am starts at uni, or working a trade and have to get up at like 5.30am, or a baker even earlier.

I did: English, Lit, Biology, Food Tech and Further maths.

Regret not doing Legal, I loved legal studies.

Can still remember my study scores too. 35, 34, 42, 40, 44

Economics was a hoot. Was last in the class all year for my sacs thinking it’d be my fifth and thus 10% loaded only. Sat my Chem exam and was shocked at how hard they made it. Crammed for 12 hours for economics, aced the exam and got my study score bumped to 40. Highest in the school. My teacher for that class rang my number on the morning the results came out “how the **** did you get 40” was all she said lol.
