The name comes from the Triple M lads, personally I like it. It gives the great man a more of a cult figure Barry Dawson is the Cougar type persona over Richo.

Richo is the old bloke at the local cricket club who always sits at the bar telling you how you should have played the ball that got you out that afternoon. Problem is no one at the club actually remembers him every pulling on the whites.

The Cho, well he's the bloke at the club who takes the clubs treasurer's daughter out back at the christmas function and then proceeds to tell the club board all about it during the all other business section of the next club meeting.

Appears to be a common nickname for the "Edwards" surname. Google it. One played in Footscray's premiership team, one played a lot of games for Clarence (he actually has a family link back to Richmond).
