Personally I think Fletcher's best year was 2001 even though he hasn't been recognised by AA selectors until recently.

He was great that year, he has been just as good or extremely close to it that last two years.

Scotty Lucas is only now reaching his peak.

Matthew Lloyd is closing on 30 but still has the attributes and ability to become an AA forward again.
 
History suggests that at age 32, a footy player will not improve....if you want to argue this point with an example of one of the greatest sportsmen of all time in a different sport then go right ahead :D

Easy arguement for you to make, as not to many players start playing at the age of 32.

What is wrong with Robert Harvey, and then there was Ian Stewart, and of course Bob Skilton and a lot more if you take the time to look them up, 32 is not over the hill, and players can improve with age, the old saying goes "you cannot buy experience it comes with age." and I forgot add Michael Tuck.
