Crazy victim mentality adopted by St Kilda fans this trade period. Florent signed a long contract under a coach that had him as one of his favourites. He doesn't fit into the new coach's plans.

It makes sense for all parties to openly suggest he looks elsewhere. It's clear enough when you're not getting selected in the best team while on a long contract, you might as well be honest with the player about it.

Picks and list spots. Even if we didn't get Curnow, we would still need to lose someone to have a spot for Serong as well as our 3 academy boys, I believe.

Then we would need to lose someone else to have space for Curnow, which are probably where the Hayward rumours come in (probably also the fact he runs a business and is best mates with Florent) but Rowbottom looks more likely at the moment.

Guessing you didn't read, I clearly said the reason why he'd be worth less than his talent level.

He is not worth a first on talent level, no one would give you pick inside the top 30 even if he was on a cheap 1 year deal .

Hard to know. I think he is what he is and that’s… ok… good maybe… but not VERY good.

Doesn’t kick many goals. Doesn’t lay a lot of tackles. Definitely outside, but doesn’t average 20 touches. Ok size, ok speed, etc.

Nothing about him screams “buy me” or “pay a premium”, which I think means he’s either steak knives in a bigger deal or a lowball bargain for someone so the Swans make room.

Might play a bigger role in a weaker team and shine? (Like at Carlton)
