its also about game style too. why is it always their blokes have easy posession and our blokes are always under the pump???????

Even guys with good decision making did bad things today. I think every player ****ed up at least once.

It's not decision making, it's leadership we lack - simple.

Recruiting is not the problem.
If Tambling had been drafted by Hawthorn he would be a great player.
If Franklin had come to Richmond he would have stagnated.
The club seems to lack the ability to develop many of the players we recruit. They don't reach the potential expected by their former development coaches, nor of opposition recruiters.
Obviously our club lacks the resources to match the bigger, richer clubs to develop the physical and mental fitness of their players. However other clubs that are no richer than ours clearly do it much, much better. Perhaps a long study of the player management at those clubs is in order, or we will just stifle the careers of another generation of players.
