What did Cooney do?Shouldn't judge without knowing the full details but pretty ordinary by Cooney, not the kind of guy you want as a best friend.

Which could be fair enough. Putting up with the rubbish Lake was dishing up would take its toll. Especially given, by his own admission, he ran away from all of his problems.Lake didn't really go into it but briefly mentioned that when his relationship ended Cooney took the side of the females and that's how their friendship ended.

They gave Dane Swan an hour. I don't think his "story" had enough to warrant it. Or maybe Mike just spent too long on some really boring topics eg. the podcast.
The amount of things Swan has achieved in his career and that hack Sheehan spends 25% of the interview talking about a podcast incident which was a complete non-event. Imagine spending your entire life in journalism and dishing up that slop.
Sexual assault is a non-event?
I hope you don't have daughters.
Stfu. They read passages from a website, people like you ****ing sooking about everything are worse then Swan.Sexual assault is a non-event?

Had Lake already been on Open Mike a few years ago?

Just download the podcast.
Why do people pretend Dane Swan is "fascinating"?
There was a new episode on Wednesday night with Brian Lake? Strange scheduling and zero promotion.
Yeah such an enigma.I don't think people find him fascinating necessarily. They find the fact that a guy who presents like you're average 2010s stoner drop-kick from your local footy club (looks and personality) made it big in the regimented professional world of modern AFL. He subverts people's expectations of what a current-day footballer should be, so they're interested in the how and why and what makes him tick.
Uhhhhh, I’m not a medical professional or mental health expert, but Lake doesn’t seem like a person who should be giving TV interviews just yet. Watching that bordered on voyeurism, akin to ghetto tourism.
Watching someone have a tiz about an incident years in the past is once thing, watching an at risk person breakdown while recounting their suicide attempt from 3 MONTHS AGO is next level and then some.you must be new around here - there are two things Mike absolutely loves about his role
- digging into people's soft spots, hoping for tears / breakdown
- asking about how much coin people earn.
