This is easily my favourite show on Fox Footy.

My all time favourite interview was Greg Williams, I think last year.

My favourite ones this year were Rex Hunt, Doug Hawkins and Libba last week. I got a chuckle out of the comment Libba making about his Brownlow victory, "who is this kid?"

Graham Cornes should be a good one tonight.

Also, what happened after the 1990 SANFL Grand Final, when Cornes visited the Port Adelaide rooms after his team (Glenelg) lost to the Magpies.

That could be the most cringeworthy moment ive seen in football. Cornes was a disgrace

As in you haven't seen it?

Basically went into the Port rooms after Port won and flat out said Glenelg were a better side then them on paper and all season and during most of the game but somehow Port won and he said it multiple times. Basically people were jeering him.

And bear in mind this was during Port's aborted attempt to get into the AFL for the 1991 season which clearly divided SA football and Cornes was very much in the anti-Port camp.

What was interesting was that this was just before the SANFL announced who would be the new SA AFL club coach, and it came down to a head-to-head battle between Cornes and the then coach of Port Adelaide, John Cahill.

Most thought that Cahill would get the nod because 1) he was the reigning premiership coach, and 2) had VFL/ AFL coaching experience with Collingwood in 1983/84.

But the SANFL chose Cornes.

Interesting.

I think I know now why after signing McGuinness and giving him a car with a glovebox full of money that Billy Goggin told McGuinness that Geelong didn't want him. He may have wanted to keep Tony away from his wife and daughters.

Jeez, old Studley was ripping in some nice hangers.

Not really that interesting but my Dad gave some guitar lessons to Studley back in the day. One day my old man lobbed up to his house to find Tony McGuiness and Mrs Cornes getting quite friendly with each other in a spa.;)
McGuiness was not the only player she.... got on well with so to speak.
