some blokes just can't keep their dicks in their pants. Its like they have a mind of their own. Bit awkward how Cornes still coached him.. i don't understand how he could do that.

Really enjoyed it loved the SANFL highlight's he took a few great marks, and the insight into the man and his early life was good hard to imagine been crafted and sent to war at 21.
I did not know about the whole Business leading up to 1985 or was it 1986 Grand Finals with his wife and Tony McGuiness...wow how the club did not implode. Wondering if it was common knowledge at the time or it came out later. Sounded like a scene from David Williamson "The Club"

As much as i dont like Graham that much it shows you how strong he is mentally to be able to put his emotions to the side for the benefit of the club in that position and then to bring him to the Crows in 1991 on top of that.
 
Good show last night. My favorite parts were Mikes smug chortle when Graham told him he didn't like the fact Victorians didn't rate Sth Australian football and Mike telling him that they pinched all the good Sth Aussie players. I was also quite impressed with the way Mike covered Grahams' VFL career. "You came late to Melbourne, played 5 games and ran back to Adelaide with your tail between your legs" :rolleyes:

I spoke with him on the phone about half a dozen years ago with regards to a cricket bat. He was working in some sort of senior sales position with Rowe & Jarman Sports Store. He confirmed the car and glove box full of money story to me.

Add Ron Barassi to the list. I would love to see a Ron Barassi Open Mike in the near future. Mike has done Kevin Bartlett a few years ago.

He's still MIA overseas, estranged from his wife. A complete mess. Had it coming though clearly, he coached Glenelg in the 90's and noone there has a good word to say about the man.

I'm surprised he and Cornes were able to maintain a professional relationship really and that McGuiness from came back from Footscray to play under Cornes at the Crows. I really don't understand how that sort of betrayal can be forgiven.
