Agreed.

Would take half an hour just to list the drugs the Eagles have been on over the last 20 years... both performance-enhancing and recreational.
Ahh the irony :D:thumbsu:

???

Premierships at North - 1
Premierships at Geelong - 1
Coleman medals at North - 1
Coleman medals at Geelong - 3

Most success? Most money definitely.
You didn't let me finish.

Makes sense given that's where he had the most success, financially.

Wade was great! Staggering to think (with the modern game in mind) that he kicked 120 goals in a season with torps and drop kicks.

Remember watching him kick torps at the G when I was a kid.
Amazingly reliable and accurate with them and he could certainly roost it - his claim of 70M is not an exagerration.
Fair old mark in his day also , he and Bill Ryan used to go OK in the air :thumbsu:

Half an hour of Gary telling Mike that he still has the "coaching fire in his belly", and would "love another crack" at an AFL gig?

I enjoyed the Ayres one. I was one that was critical of his time at Geelong coaching but after watching (I know it's only his side of the story) I do agree that he may have been given the rough end of the pineapple a couple of times in his coaching career.

After being out of AFL coaching for quite awhile now and admitting himself that he probably won't get another opportunity, it was good to see that he still has the appetite to get back into it if an opportunity presented itself.

Jeez he was a good player and I think he knows it. It's what separates the guns from the very good ones.

Yeah, Ayres was a gun, no doubt.

One of those players that you would think if he played in today's game he would be even greater
