I was blessed to see some amazing Richmond players in my time. Hart, Bourke, Stewart, Bartlett, Keane, Clay, Raines, Richo, Flea etc but Maurice Rioli would have to be one of the most overrated players I have ever seen. A Half Forward Flanker as a previous Richmond poster stated who could only kick 80 goals in 118 games. Look at the other great flankers of the time like Peter Daicos who kicked 97 in one season and also had seasons kicking 76,75, 58 and 52 playing as a midfielder. Daicos kicked more in a season than Rioli kicked in his career. Rioli would be up their with the most hyped up overrated players in the history of the game.

We offered like 300k a year less than Norf lmao. The Norf tax is the extra 20-30% that Norf have to pay their players to not desert them for an AFL standard club

Something from Thursday night I've thought about was how much time the Sydney players spent going out of their way to try "rough up" our players.

This is in contrast to our players that go out of their way to give each other a pat on the back. The players getting around Conca is the obvious demonstration of how they play for each other but the way they support each other and spend time on each other, rather than the opposition, shows how much more ingrained it is within our footy club. It really makes you smile.
