He is a pretty good runner for a ruck and good skills even at ground level. He said he is working on his forward craft given it’s not a role he has played too often.

A tall forward at Collingwood ... no.

Another one whose height fluctuates.

I reckon he plays a bit like Sam Jacobs.

Good luck to him... Probably the end of Begg as a ruckmen.
I’ve never seen stronger parallels in a player than Begg and Tristen Walker. I swear to god they’re the same bloody person twenty years apart.

He also stands next to Murphy who had a growth spurt a few years back and is reportedly 199cm, yet Steene looks at least 10cm taller than him so he could be close to 209cm!!!
I saw a shot where he was standing next to Cox and he was taller so he must be 219 cm. At this rate he won’t fit in his jumper.

These are always special and I hope he has a long and distinguished career.
His joy is infectious. He's worked so hard to get here, there would be relief, given he was a late developer, had an injury interrupted draft year in 2021, and then had a fairly good 2022 with playing in the reserves and cracking some league games for clubs to take notice. Was probably unlucky to be overlooked, but lucky for us really. To pluck out young talent and without costing very little. But he should know, the real work starts now. His talent and hard work in the summer got him to this point, but more hard work to come.

But from what ive heard, that won't be a problem. He is eager to learn, to improve his craft. A real competitor.

Yes and he stands at 204cm ... or 201cm depending on your source.

So at that height, we might be able to trial him as a tall forward. Although that is a bold idea at Collingwood despite possessing the tallest player to have taken part in AFL match - no longer the tallest in the comp. Richmond has a 213cm rookie but he's a few years off playing.

I think he'll be half half, same with begg. He told me he wants to work on his forward craft, He does feel like a pure ruck, but if he can also play forward, that'll add a string to his bow that will get him games where he can pinch hit the ruck as he develops.

#34, #37 and #44 are vacant.

We still have one Cat B list spot remaining.
We do, but given we let go of that volleyballer prospect post christmas, seems we'll leave that cat B spot free for the time being until someone more viable comes along. Or if Rou develops.

But as for Oscar... Maybe 34? I reckon it'll be one of the 30's

I want a American football college player. Running back, defensive end, tackle (would need to be taught how to run) or punter (they can already kick).

Tough, pressure's on immediately.
Yeah, but as long as he keeps on improving his game, that'll get extended at some point this year. Given they didn't actually list him just for 2023, but for the future. He shouldn't let himself relax though, as being in the system is where you need to keep on the upward.
