Yes and no.

He exists in his position due directly to ignorance, mass belief of the lowest common denominator they are fed and an overwhelming feeling of abandonment and abuse by those in power above them.

He presented a platform that spoke directly to aforementioned abandoned and the alternative group were too self indulged and pompous to admit they needed to address anything substantially to win.

SO here we are.

If he leaves, and hopefully soon, he will be replaced by another empowered buffoon that with any luck wont have quite the ignorance and twitter account of this one.

That depends on if they can get their heads out of their entitled arses long enough and admit that they are as much the problem as the Repubs and Trump.

IF, little word big meaning - they can get active in the community on a mass media and grass roots level and show that the rank and file can, will be and ARE being considered as needed and treated accordingly - then yes its possible.

That said, they were told they needed to engage, listen and act last time and they were beaten by a 4 times bankrupt bigot who pretended to do the same... so I dont hold much hope..... sadly.

Cops do a lot of good work, for little gratitude, and the integrity / reputation of the majority shouldn’t be tarnished by the cimes of a corrupt few.
