JUBJUB said:BTW chappymagic,it's not a good idea to start a thread about Ottens on the main board. It just drags out the usual trolls, most of which are probably banned from the Geelong section of Bigfooty.
Sean Sheep said:I actually think Otto has been one of our best and most consistent players this year. All of his good and solid performances seemed to continually get crushed by the weight of expectation though.
bresker said:He was excellent against the Dogs earlier this year, and I don't have a bloody clue what we're going to do about him this time round. I hope Rocket does.
To be fair most of the thicker richmond supporters are banned.Total Power said:What happened...no richmond supporters posting yet? oh forgot...Ottens had a field day.
Rosella said:Good point! I still think he was a bargain - one draft pick and a superfluous midfielder. Been good all year - and has played every game.
Whispers said:Especially this year Rosella when you see Ottens playing consistantly and Moloney continuously being injured. However, Melbourne secured Matthew Bate with the number 13 draft pick who has been playing some solid football recently.
catempire said:What has pick 13 got to do with it?
Brad Ottens - Traded by Richmond to Geelong in multi team deal. Geelong traded Brent Moloney to Melbourne for 12th selection in 2004 national draft, then traded the 12th & 16th selections in 2004 national draft to Richmond in exchange for Ottens.
Pick 12 = Danny MeyerRosella said:I thought it was pick 12? Dean Polo? Either way I'm still happy with the deal.
